Washing Instructions

Before you start washing with the automatic washers with coin receiver, read the Symbols & Instructions as well as the instructions on the self-service washers and the wall.

Step 1: To wash your clothes, you must first distinguish them by color, white, bright colors and dark colors. If you put the white colors along with the bright colors in the tub, you may ruin your white clothes. You also need to close the zipper on the shirts and trousers, and empty the pockets.

Step 2: Select the washer to wash according to the amount of clothing. Before placing the clothes into the washer, you must first unfold them and put them in the tub separately. Do not overload the washer. There must always be an empty space from the top of the tub for the clothes to be washed properly.

Step 3: You can use your own detergent and softener or purchase one from the soap vending machine in the store. It is important to use the right amount of detergent and softener according to the manufacturer's instructions.

If the detergent is tablet, place it inside the tub’s washer. If the soap is liquid or powder, place it in the detergent’s drawer. It is advisable to use a liquid detergent for washing QUILTS & BLANKETS. Powder detergents may leave spots.

Step 4: Place the coins inside the coin receiver. If you do not have coins with you, you can use the coin changer machine that you will find at the store.

Step 5: Select the appropriate washing cycle. Read the labels on your clothes, and the washer’s and detergent’s instructions for washing temperatures.

Washing takes about 25 to 35 minutes depending on the washer and the cycle you choose.
